Abbey is a retro staple - an A-line, vintage length (mid thigh), dress designed for play - just add bike shorts for modesty!
It can be made with a ruffle neck, Peter Pan collar or plain and simple.
It has a high front neck, and the back closes with a simple button above a narrow keyhole opening.

We also went to Charleville's Historic House Museum - fully run by volunteers, this a treasure trove of artefacts and local history, with many different rooms and outdoor areas to explore. Open most days, find out more about it here https://www.outbackqueensland.com.au/attractions/charleville-historic-house-museum/
